We believe in the importance of giving back. You have generously supported us and, in turn, we want to generously support the community alongside you. 

Here at Be Active Maternity, we have two community partnerships that we donate to

Our first partnership is with a not-for-profit organisation, Every Mother Counts.

Their mission is "to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere."

Did You Know? 1 woman dies every 2 minutes due to complications related to pregnancy or childbirth.

  • This is a devastating number. Especially when you consider that nearly all of these deaths are preventable.
  • Together with you, our customers, we are supporting Every Mother Counts in bringing women around the world the respectful, quality and equitable maternity care that they so desperately need.

Our second partnership is with another not-for-profit organisation, SAM Ministries, and their Emergency Feeding & Infant Milk Program

Emergency Feeding

The death of a young mother is a horrible tragedy. This tragedy is made even worse when the family doesn’t have enough resources to provide for the mother’s infant child. 

The Emergency Feeding Program, through SAM Ministries, provides emergency relief to those suffering from natural disasters and those in crisis situations, like the one mentioned above.

The funds given to Emergency Feeding are used to:

  • Provide meals to school children, ensuring their healthy development.
  • Provide emergency food supplies in times of crisis.
  • Provide milk formula for orphaned infants and toddlers, or infants suffering from malnutrition.
  • Provide monthly food stipends to orphans and their elderly, widowed caregivers.

The Infant Milk Program

Be Active Maternity will be donating 5% of proceeds from your purchases to Emergency Feeding and The Infant Milk Program.

This program responds to “families living in absolute poverty who have babies in critical need of full or supplemental bottle-feeding with infant formula”.

These 0-18 month old infants are either orphaned or below the 3rd percentile for weight and growth for their age.
